The process of converting training content at AIA and difficulties:

With the goal of expanding the network of life insurance agents nationwide, the scale and frequency of personnel recruitment at AIA Vietnam is relatively large. Those selected will attend a comprehensive training program, starting with two courses NEO (New Employee Orientation) and DYS (Discover Your Strength).

In the process of digital transformation of these contents, the company’s training department is faced with three big problems that need answers:

  • A way to convey a large amount of theory about rules, regulations, … in the NEO course without causing boredom and learning pressure for employees.
  • Ensure employees not only view knowledge but also immediately use the tools and forms provided in the DYS course to identify their strengths and immediately apply them to real work.
  • The need for large-scale training for employees across many provinces requires AIA to transition from face-to-face training to online training for both courses. It is worth mentioning that the total time for this project is limited to only 1 month.

How did Amber digitize AIA's integration program?

After thoroughly assessing the training needs of enterprises and understanding the learner profile, as well as the specific content of the two training programs mentioned above, AMBER has come up with specific solutions for the problems. of AIA Vietnam.

1. Eliminate the feeling of “having to learn” throughout the integration journey

2. Enhancing the learner experience in NEO

To convey the large amount of theoretical knowledge of the NEO course, AMBER has specially designed for AIA Vietnam a lesson navigation menu bar. With this tool, learners can flexibly switch between main content.

At the same time, in order to ensure that the lecture duration meets microlearning standards, AMBER has had many discussions with AIA to understand the content in-depth, thereby selecting the most suitable knowledge for transmission in the form of video lectures.

The remaining training materials are converted by AMBER into slidedoc format, which is convenient for storing on the company’s common learning system, and learners can easily access and review their knowledge at any time.

In addition, the interface of the lecture is also presented in a clear, scientific, and synchronous manner in terms of colors and images, helping to bring a positive sensory impression to course participants.

3. Maintain active participation in DYS

To increase interest and ensure that learners fully participate in the DYS program, Amber integrates gamification (game elements) into each lesson. Each content turns into a task that learners must complete before they can move on to the next step of the journey.
